We are happy to share the programme of the international conference Pictures of madness: uses of photography in psychiatry (19th–21st centuries) that will take place in Paris on November 20th and 21st (Maison Suger-FMSH, 16 rue Suger, 75006).

This conference is organized by Professor Marianna Scarfone. It will bring together researchers and artists from Canada, France, Italy, Norway, Quebec, South Africa, and Switzerland. Professor Éléonore Goldberg (2D/Experimental Animation) will present her ongoing research through the discussion "The Artists' Entrance: Asylum Archives in Motion," on November 21.

This conference will echo with the ongoing exhibition "Face à ce qui se dérobe : les clichés de la folie", at the museum au Nicéphore Niépce in Chalon-sur-Saône (France).
